Learning Polish without the boredom of textbooks

Hi!

Since you’re here, I don’t need to convince you to learn Polish. You probably already know that Polish sounds beautiful, is useful in many areas, and overflows with humor and energy.

Unfortunately, nothing is perfect—not even Polish. It can be wild, sometimes absurd, and building a relationship with it takes commitment.

And if all of that makes you feel like giving up your dream of learning Polish—don’t! I believe we can do this together 💪

I’ve been teaching Polish as a foreign language professionally for three years, and I know it can be a tough process. But it doesn’t have to be! I do my best to make learning an exciting adventure, not a boring chore.

In my lessons:

You’ll learn Polish at any level – from zero to hero!

You won’t always be having a blast, but you definitely won’t be bored or suffering 😉

Individual approach

We’ll focus on your goals and needs – each session is tailored to the student.

Learning that engages

You’ll see Polish from a different perspective – as a fascinating living organism, not just a binder full of declension charts. You’ll discover lots of interesting facts about the language and culture.

About me

My name is Ania, and nothing annoys me more than poor-quality language teaching. In my 30 years, I’ve encountered many teachers—some who gave me wings, and others who only managed to make me dislike the language they were teaching.
I decided to turn that frustration into something positive and become the kind of teacher I always dreamed of—patient, empathetic, understanding, but also demanding. And I think I’m doing a pretty good job 🙂

Let's talk!

I hold degrees in Baltic Philology and Eastern Studies from the University of Warsaw. I also studied in Vilnius, Klaipėda, and Riga. I’ve been teaching Polish for several years—first as a volunteer in Moldova and Armenia, and since 2023, professionally, after completing postgraduate studies in glottodidactics.

I speak fluent Lithuanian and English, and I can also communicate in Russian and Latvian—which is a big help, especially at the beginner stage! 🌍

Testimonials

The lessons are engaging and creative. It’s very good that the teacher uses Polish during class, making an effort to explain all new concepts and rules in the language itself. She observes the students closely and ensures the lessons are interesting for them. When she notices they’re tired, she adjusts the difficulty of tasks to match their current abilities. She is also very patient and attentive.

Learning Polish with Anna has been a joy. Her flexible scheduling and personalized lessons fit seamlessly into my routine. She adapts her teaching to my goals, blending grammar, conversation, and multimedia in a way that keeps me motivated and progressing.

Anna also brings Polish culture to life. Through holiday-themed lessons like Easter’s święconka and Christmas traditions like Wigilia, she turns language learning into a cultural experience.

Thanks to her, I’m improving quickly and gaining a real appreciation for Polish. I highly recommend her to learners at any level.

Anna is very creative and has a great sense of humor. The lessons fly by. I highly recommend her, especially to Lithuanians who want to learn Polish, as Anna also speaks our language.
